CONFERENCE AIMS

 

·                To create greater awareness of dance education in Singapore schools

·                To promote quality dance education and hence contribute towards the development of a strong dance scene in Singapore

·                To tap on the professional expertise of dance practitioners and educators from Singapore, and abroad

·                To serve as a platform for networking and hence connect institutions interested in dance education in Singapore

KEY FEATURES

 

This conference includes keynote speeches, lecture-demonstrations, panel discussions, forums by keynote speakers and research paper presentations. In addition, there are experiential dance workshops for teachers-in-charge and dance instructors. Research sharing sessions, a new feature at the conference, allow the trainers, some of whom are regular contributors to dance research journals, to share their findings on the field of dance education.

A trade exhibition will also be held, featuring the latest literature, information and resources in the dance world.
